# A new Sudoku puzzle every day

The daily challenge is the simplest way to make Sudoku a habit. Every day brings a new puzzle, the same for every player, and a calendar that shows the days you have solved.

- Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ates.sudoku&referrer=utm_source%3Dkaizensudoku.com%26utm_medium%3Dweb%26utm_campaign%3Dweb-en-daily

## How the daily challenge works

Open the Daily tab to see the calendar for the month. Today's puzzle is waiting; solve it to mark the day. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can start on the bus and finish at home.

The difficulty follows the week: an easy puzzle on Sunday, medium, hard and expert puzzles during the week, and a Legend puzzle on Saturday. Every player gets the same puzzle on the same day.

## Streaks and monthly trophies

Each day you solve in a row adds to your streak. Solve every puzzle of the month to earn that month's trophy; the calendar shows how close you are.

Streaks work because they are small: one puzzle, a few minutes. The goal is not to play for hours but to come back tomorrow.

## Why a daily puzzle is good practice

Short, regular practice beats long, rare sessions. Solving one puzzle a day trains the scanning habits that make Sudoku faster: checking each box for each digit, spotting pairs, noticing when a line is almost complete.

Your statistics show the result: best times and recent solve times for every level, so you can see yourself getting faster week by week.

## Tips for a faster daily solve

- Start with the digit that already appears most often on the board; it has the fewest places left to go.
- Scan each 3×3 box for missing digits before you look at rows and columns.
- Write notes only when singles run out, and let the app clear them as you place digits.
- If you get stuck, look for a pair: two cells in a row, column or box that can hold only the same two digits.
- Use a hint rather than guessing; it shows the next cell that follows by logic, so you learn from it.

## Make it part of your routine

- Pick a fixed moment: morning coffee, the commute, or winding down in the evening.
- Turn on night mode for evening play; every theme has a night variant.
- Hide the timer if you want to play without pressure.
- Set the mistake limit that suits you, or switch it off.

## Free, every day

The daily challenge is free and has no ads. You also get 3 free hints in every game, and points you earn by solving can buy extra hints or a second chance at the mistake limit.
