Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-25

This policy explains what information Kaizen Sudoku ("the app", "we") collects when you use it on iPhone, iPad or Android, and how it is used. The app is provided by Süleyman Ateş, İstanbul, Türkiye.

1. Summary

  • No account: you never give us your name, email address or phone number to play.
  • No ads and no advertising tracking.
  • Your games, statistics, points, credits and settings are stored on your device.
  • After you continue past the in-app notice on first launch, anonymous usage statistics and crash reports are collected to improve the app.
  • We do not sell or rent personal data.

2. Data stored on your device

Puzzles in progress, completed games, statistics, streaks, points, credit balance, purchase status and settings are stored locally on your device. We cannot access them. Deleting the app deletes this data; Settings › Data › Reset progress clears statistics and points.

3. Usage statistics and crash reports

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They are switched on only after you have seen the in-app notice about app usage on first launch and tapped Continue.

They collect: app events (for example a game started or completed, difficulty level, hints used, purchase screens viewed), app version, operating system version, device model, language, approximate country, and a random app instance identifier. Crash reports contain technical information about the crash. We do not collect your advertising identifier and we do not use this data for advertising.

Google processes this data on our behalf under its terms. Aggregated statistics are retained for a limited period only and are used to understand which features are used and to fix errors.

4. Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details. The app checks your purchases on your device to unlock what you bought.

5. Game Center and Google Play Games

If you sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games, your scores and achievements are shared with Apple or Google to show leaderboards. This is optional and governed by their privacy policies.

6. Legal bases and your rights

We process data to provide the app (contract), to keep it stable and improve it (legitimate interests) and, where required, on the basis of your consent. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability.

Because analytics data is anonymous and not linked to your name, we may need your app instance details to act on a request. Write to sudokukaizen@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Kaizen Sudoku is suitable for all ages and contains no ads. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; the analytics described above are anonymous. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers and security

Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. This website

kaizensudoku.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking scripts. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site; we do not store visitor logs.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app. Questions or requests: sudokukaizen@gmail.com.
